The Wegovy Pill 9mg maintenance dose is designed for adults who have successfully completed the starter phase of treatment and are ready to continue their medically supervised weight management journey. This higher dose is intended to provide greater therapeutic benefit for appropriate patients and should only be started following a clinical review.
The 9 mg maintenance dose is designed to help support ongoing weight loss by helping to reduce appetite, increase feelings of fullness and make it easier to maintain healthy eating habits. Your clinician will determine whether this dose is suitable based on your progress, weight loss, side effects and overall response to treatment.

Before treatment is prescribed, you’ll complete a comprehensive online consultation covering your medical history, current medications, weight and BMI. Treatment is only supplied if it is considered safe and clinically appropriate.
